Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of Oct. 7 – Oct. 11: 2 percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday — apple smothered pork chops, scalloped potatoes, succotash, apple crisp;

Tuesday — chicken cordon bleu, parsley potatoes, peas and carrots, cake;

Wednesday — shredded beef enchilada, Spanish rice, mexicorn, churros;

Thursday — barbecue chicken, baked potato, creamed peas, pudding;

Friday — battered cod, tater tots, cheesy broccoli, cake.

Monday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; blood-pressure checks, 9:30 a.m.; beading class, 12:30 p.m.; poker, 1 p.m.; haircuts, 9 a.m.; Republican Women meet, 7 p.m.;

Tuesday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; crafty ladies, 12:30 p.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.; HealthCare Partners open enrollment, 9:30 a.m.;

Wednesday — Walmart, 9:30 a.m.; Humana open enrollment, 9:30 a.m.;

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Oct. 7 – Oct.11:

Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Monday — turkey bean burrito, mexicorn, carrot raisin salad, cherry apricot granola cup;

Tuesday — eggplant parmesan, pasta, steamed spinach, green salad, garlic bread, pineapple chunks;

Wednesday — hamburgers, baked beans, layered salad, corn-on-the-cob, birthday cake;

Thursday — chicken cordon bleu, buttered herb noodles, green beans, colorful salad, berry cobbler;

Friday — Breakfast: scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, fruit cocktail, coffee, orange juice, tea.
