Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of: Dec. 2 – Dec. 6. 2 percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday — sloppy Joes, tater tots, mixed veggies, soup, ice cream;

Tuesday — sweet and sour pork, rice, peas and carrots, soup, cake;

Wednesday — fried chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, soup, cake;

Thursday — meatloaf, mashed potatoes, corn, soup, apple crisp;

Friday — tilapia, rice, carrots, soup, cake.

Activities

Monday — haircuts, 9 a.m.; beading class, 12:30 p.m.; exercise class 10:30 p.m.;

Tuesday — Humana open enrollment, 9:30 a.m.; exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; crafty ladies, 12:30 p.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.;

Wednesday — United Health Care Partners team meeting, cloggers practice, 9:00 a.m.;

Thursday — S.H.I.P.; exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; Nathan Gent Deputy D.A. Nye County Seminar, fraud/burglary prevention, 12:15 p.m.;

Friday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; bridge, 1:00 p.m.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Dec. 2 – Dec. 6:

Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Breakfast served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Monday — baked liver and onions, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, peach cobbler;

Tuesday — clam chowder, whole wheat roll, steamed cauliflower and broccoli, vanilla pudding;

Wednesday — spinach lasagna, garlic bread, steamed peas and carrots, mixed fruit, strawberry shortcake;

Thursday — carne asada, Spanish rice, calabacitas, tortillas, sugar cookies;

Friday — pancakes, scrambled eggs, potato skillet with bacon, mixed berries, oatmeal.
