Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of Jan. 20 – Jan.24: 2 percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday — Salisbury steak, potatoes au gratin, broccoli, cake;

Tuesday — barbecue chicken, baked potatoes, creamed peas, rice pudding;

Wednesday — chili cheese dogs, tater tots, corn, fruit cup;

Thursday — sweet and sour pork, peas and carrots, rice, cake;

Friday — salmon patty, rice, cauliflower, fruit.

Monday — exercise class, 10;30 a.m.; beading class, 12:30 p.m.; haircuts, 9 a.m.; poker, 12:30 p.m.;

Tuesday — crafty ladies, 12:30 p.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.; exercise 10:30 a.m.;

Wednesday — Walmart, 9:30 a.m.; Senior Dimensions, 9:30 a.m.;

Thursday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.;

Friday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.; poker, 12:30 p.m.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Jan. 20 – Jan.24:

Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Breakfast served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Monday — closed, MLK Day;

Tuesday — stuffed peppers, baked potatoes, green beans, apple/cranberry/pear crisp;

Wednesday — Dixieland shortcake, black-eyed peas, steamed broccoli and cauliflower, bread pudding;

Thursday — bratwurst with sauerkraut, whole wheat roll, baked potato with fixin’s, corn, baked apples;

Friday — Breakfast: French toast, scrambled eggs, bacon, oatmeal, country fries, coffee, orange juice, tea.
