Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of Feb. 24 - Feb. 28: 2 percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday — Salisbury steak, scalloped potatoes, Brussels sprouts, cake;

Tuesday — barbecue chicken, baked potato, creamed peas, rice pudding;

Wednesday — open-faced roast beef sandwich, mashed potatoes and gravy, broccoli, yogurt cup;

Thursday — fried chicken, tater tots, corn, yogurt;

Friday — salmon patty, rice, cauliflower, fruit.

Activities:

Monday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; beading class, 12:30 p.m.; haircuts, 9 a.m.;

Tuesday — crafty ladies, 12:30 p.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.; exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; Shadow Mountain Players, 7 p.m.;

Wednesday — Walmart, 9:30 a.m.; Senior Dimensions, 9:30 a.m.; blind support, 12:30 p.m.;

Thursday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.;

Friday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.; hospice seminar, 10:30 a.m.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Feb. 24 - Feb. 28:

Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Breakfast served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Monday — fish tacos, cole slaw, ranch beans, sauteed scallions, asparagus, mushrooms;

Tuesday — beef fajitas, red peppers, onions, salsa on the side, cheese shells, black bean and corn salad, birthday cake;

Wednesday — sweet Italian sausage with peppers, steamed rice, sauteed carrots and celery, mixed greens salad;

Thursday — baked breaded chicken, angel hair pasta, Italian veggies, whole wheat roll;

Friday — Breakfast: French toast, scrambled eggs, berry parfait, oatmeal, orange juice, tea, coffee.
