Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of July 22 — July 26: 2 percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday — chili cheese dogs, corn, fruit cup;

Tuesday — spaghetti and meatballs, garlic bread, squash, ice cream;

Wednesday — sweet and sour pork, rice, peas and carrots, cake;

Thursday — shepherd’s pie, corn, brownies;

Friday — tilapia, rice pilaf, glazed carrots, ice cream.

Activities

Monday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; beading class, 12:30 p.m.; haircuts, 9 a.m.; poker, 1 p.m.;

Tuesday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; crafty ladies, 12:30 p.m.; bridge, 1 p.m.;

Wednesday — Walmart, 9:30 a.m.;

Thursday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; Stovall real estate services, call 727-5008 for appointments;

Friday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; bridge, 1 p.m.; blood pressure checks, 9:30 a.m.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of July 22 — July 26:

Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Monday — meat and potato tacos, steamed brown rice, calabacitas squash, green salad, apricots;

Tuesday — honey apricot chicken, baked potato with butter and sour cream, California blend veggies, whole wheat bread, fresh orange slices, spice cake;

Wednesday — spaghetti and meatballs with pasta sauce, green beans, carrot and raisin salad, sliced pears;

Thursday — tomato soup, lemon baked fish, corn pudding, steamed peas and carrots, wheatberry bread, ginger cookie, applesauce;

Friday — Breakfast: cheese strata, bacon, oatmeal, blueberry muffins, coffee, orange juice, tea.
