Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of May 12 - May 17: 2 percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday — spaghetti and meat sauce, summer squash, cake;

Tuesday — barbecue chicken, baked potato, mixed veggies, pudding;

Wednesday — shepherd’s pie, zucchini, ice cream;

Thursday — Philly cheesesteak sandwich, potato wedges, mixed veggies, fruit cup;

Friday — hot dogs on a bun, macaroni and cheese, peas, brownies.

Monday —exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; poker, 1 p.m.; haircuts, 9 a.m.; beading class, 12:30 p.m.; Republican Women meet, 7 p.m.;

Tuesday — bridge, 12:30 p.m.; exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; banking seminar, 9:30 a.m.;

Wednesday — Walmart, 9:30 a.m.; crafty ladies, 12:30 p.m.; “How to Become a Volunteer” seminar, 9:30 a.m.

Thursday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; political speech; Stovall legal services, call 727-5008 for appointment;

Friday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.

Saturday — Seniors prom dance, “Memories Are Made of This,” 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., tickets are $10.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of May 12 - May 16:

Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Breakfast served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Monday — stuffed peppers, noodles with sauce, mixed greens, Jell-O;

Tuesday — baked liver and onions, mashed potatoes and gravy, mixed veggies, whole wheat roll, sliced peaches;

Wednesday — sweet and sour pork, brown rice, steamed cauliflower, layered salad, birthday cake;

Thursday — hot dogs, potato wedges, macaroni salad, applesauce;

Friday — Breakfast: biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage, oatmeal, melon, coffee, orange juice, tea.
