Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of: June 16 – June 20, 2 percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday — chicken cordon bleu, parsley potatoes, green beens, cake;

Tuesday — philly cheesesteak, potato wedges, broccoli, yogurt cup;

Wednesday — chef’s salad, bread sticks, ice cream;

Thursday — Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes, corn pudding;

Friday — salmon patty, rice, spinach, fruit cup.

Activities

Monday — haircuts, 9:00 a.m.; blood-pressure checks;

Tuesday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.; wills and estate planning, 10:30 a.m.;

Wednesday — shopping day, 9:30 a.m.; Crafty Ladies, 12:30 p.m.; Senior Dimensions team meets, 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.;

Thursday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m., Stovall legal services, call 727-5008 for appointment;

Friday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of June 16 – June 20:

Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Breakfast served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Monday — baked liver and onions, mashed potatoes, gravy, mexicorn, tomatoes vinaigrette, whole wheat bread, sliced peaches;

Tuesday — chicken with cucumber and mango salsa, corn-on-the-cob, scalloped potatoes, Jell-O;

Wednesday — stuffed peppers, noodles with sauce, mixed greens, garlic bread, sugar cookies, vanilla ice cream;

Thursday — baked meatloaf, rice casserole, beets in orange sauce, carrots, celery sticks, bananas;

Friday — Breakfast – biscuits and gravy, sausage links, scrambled eggs, oatmeal, OJ, coffee, tea.

Bus service for those interested: Monday, pick up between 3 and 4 p.m., Mecca Road between Route 373 and Miner Road. Drop off after dinner at 5 p.m.

Friday, pick up between 8 and 9 a.m. Farm Road between School Lane and Tamarack Road. Drop off after breakfast at 10 a.m.
