Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of: June 30 – July 4, 2 percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday — herb-baked chicken, au gratin potatoes, carrots, apple crisp;

Tuesday — tuna casserole, peas, pudding;

Wednesday — Italian sausage with peppers and onions over pasta, brownies;

Thursday — cheeseburgers, baked beans, ice cream;

Friday — closed.

Activities

Monday — haircuts, 9:00 a.m.; exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; beading class, 12:30 p.m.;

Tuesday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.; pet care seminar, 10:45 a.m.;

Wednesday — shopping day, 9:30 a.m.; SHIP, 9:30 a.m.;

Thursday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.;

Friday — closed.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of June 30 – July 4:

Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Breakfast served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Monday — chicken tostadas, cheesy shells, green beans, tortilla soup;

Tuesday — spinach lasagna, steamed cauliflower, garlic bread, cherry apricot granola cup;

Wednesday — barbecue beef sandwiches, tater tots, ranch beans, coleslaw, brownies;

Thursday — baked fried chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, dinner roll, vanilla ice cream;

Friday — closed.

Bus service for those interested: Monday, pick up between 3 and 4 p.m., Mecca Road between Route 373 and Miner Road. Drop off after dinner at 5 p.m.

Friday, pick up between 8 and 9 a.m. Farm Road between School Lane and Tamarack Road. Drop off after breakfast at 10 a.m.
