Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of July 7 – July 11, 2 percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday — spaghetti and meatballs, green beans, applesauce;

Tuesday — chicken tacos, refried beans, mexicorn, churros;

Wednesday — Salisbury steak, au gratin potatoes, creamed peas, cake;

Thursday — chef’s salad, bread sticks, ice cream;

Friday — salmon patty, brown rice, carrots, fruit cup.

Activities

Monday — haircuts, 9:00 a.m.; exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; poker, 12:30 p.m.;

Tuesday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.; medical marijuana seminar, 10:45 a.m.;

Wednesday — shopping day, 9:30 a.m.; Humana, 9:30 a.m.; a wonderful life seminar, 10 a.m.; crafty ladies, 12:30 p.m.;

Thursday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.;

Friday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of July 7 – July 11:

Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Breakfast served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Monday — stuffed cabbage, steamed carrots, egg noodles with sauce, sliced pears;

Tuesday — baked tilapia, squash and bean saute, wild rice, lemon tart;

Wednesday — Italian chicken and penne pasta, garlic Brussels sprouts, whole wheat roll, fruit salad, vanilla pudding;

Thursday —pork chow mein, steamed rice, chopped spinach, sliced pineapple;

Friday — biscuits and gravy, bacon, scrambled eggs, oatmeal, coffee/tea/orange juice.

Bus service for those interested: Monday, pick up between 3 and 4 p.m., Mecca Road between Route 373 and Miner Road. Drop off after dinner at 5 p.m.

Friday, pick up between 8 and 9 a.m. Farm Road between School Lane and Tamarack Road. Drop off after breakfast at 10 a.m.
