Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of Aug. 12 — Aug. 16: 2 percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday — chili cheese dogs, corn, fruit cup;

Tuesday — chef salad, bread sticks, pudding;

Wednesday — Italian sausage and peppers, Normandy veggies, apple crisp;

Thursday — meatloaf, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans and bacon, pudding;

Friday — battered cod, tater tots, peas and carrots, brownies.

Monday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; beading class, 12:30 p.m.; haircuts, 9 a.m.; poker, 1 p.m.; Republican Women meet, 7 p.m.;

Tuesday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; crafty ladies, 12:30 p.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.;

Wednesday — Walmart, 9:30 a.m.; Humana, 9:30 a.m.; Red Cross Disaster Preparedness seminar, 9:30 a.m.;

Thursday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; Stovall legal services, call 727-5008 for appointment;

Friday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.; blood pressure checks, 9:30 a.m.

 

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Aug. 12 — Aug. 16:

Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Monday — hot turkey sandwich, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, lettuce and tomato salad, peach cup;

Tuesday — Swiss steak, egg noodles, mixed veggies, orange spinach salad, Italian bread, fresh apple, apricots;

Wednesday — barbecue chicken, baked beans, seasoned zucchini, green salad, birthday cake, homemade ice cream;

Thursday — lemon baked fish, broccoli stuffed potato, garden salad, Caesar dressing, cracked wheat bread, fresh orange;

Friday — Breakfast: scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, fruit cocktail, coffee, orange juice, tea.
