Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of: Sept. 14 – Sept. 18. Two percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday — BBQ chicken, baked potato, green beans, fruit cup, soup;

Tuesday — Salisbury steak, au gratin potatoes, succotash, cake, soup;

Wednesday — pulled pork sandwich, mixed veggies, pudding, soup;

Thursday — Chicken Cordon Bleu, parsley potatoes, asparagus, apple crisp, soup;

Friday – tuna stuffed tomato, carrot and celery stix, Jell-O, soup.

 

Activities

Monday — Haircuts, 9 a.m.–11 a.m.; exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; square dance class, 10 a.m.-11 a.m.; beading class, 12:30 p.m.; poker, 12:30 p.m.;

Tuesday — exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; Senior Dimensions, 10 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.;

Wednesday — United Healthcare team meeting, 9 a.m.-1 p.m.; Congressman Hardy's office rep., 10 a.m.; Crafty Ladies, 12:30 p.m.;

Thursday —Old Men's Club Breakfast, 7 a.m. - 9 a.m.; exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; haircuts, 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.; Stovall Legal Services, call 727-5008 for appointment;

Friday — T.O.P.S. meeting, 7 a.m. – 9 a.m.; exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; St. Therese Mission Seminar, 10 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.

Saturday – First responders Appreciation Day, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

 

 

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Sept. 14 – Sept. 18

Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Breakfast served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Monday — spinach lasagna, carrots, garden salad, garlic bread, applesauce and cookies;

Tuesday — chicken fajitas, Spanish rice, ranch style beans, chopped spinach, French dressing, pineapple chunks;

Wednesday —oven-fried cod, baked potato with sour cream, steamed peas, whole wheat roll, fruit gelatin dessert;

Thursday — beef stroganoff, noodles, broccoli, garlic bread, "homemade" cherry pie;

Friday — biscuits and gravy, sausage links, scrambled eggs, oatmeal, yogurt and fruit.
