Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of: Sept. 28 – Oct. 2. Two percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday — smothered burrito, mexi-corn, churros, soup;

Tuesday — chicken Alfredo with fettuccini, spinach, peach crisp, soup;

Wednesday — country fried steak, mashed potatoes, Brussels sprouts, pudding, soup;

Thursday — apple-smothered pork chop, scalloped potatoes, carrots, ice cream, soup;

Friday – cheesy tuna casserole, lima beans, cake, soup.

 

Activities

Monday — Haircuts, 9 a.m. - 11 a.m.; exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; square dance class, 10 a.m. - 11 a.m.; beading class, 12:30 p.m.; poker, 12:30 p.m.;

Tuesday — exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; Nathan Adelson Seminar, "Memory Journals," 10 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.; bunco, 12:30 p.m.;

Wednesday — SHIP, 9:30 a.m. - 11 a.m.; Blind Support, 12:30 p.m.; Crafty Ladies, 12:30 p.m.; JK Nelson Law Services, 9:30 a.m. – 1 p.m., for appointment call 727-5008;

Thursday — exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; haircuts, 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.;

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Sept. 28 – Oct. 2

Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Breakfast served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Monday — apple-topped pork chop, sweet potatoes, lettuce and tomato salad, French dressing, cracked wheat bread, Rice Krispie Treats;

Tuesday — spaghetti and meatballs, baked vegetables, fresh veggies, garlic bread, bread pudding;

Wednesday —chicken merlot, broccoli, mashed potatoes and gravy, whole wheat roll, oatmeal and raisin cookies;

Thursday — BBQ chicken w/roll, scalloped potatoes, black-eyed peas, colorful salad, peaches;

Friday — biscuits and gravy, sausage links/scrambled eggs, oatmeal, yogurt and fruit, orange juice.
