Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of Aug. 26 — Aug. 30: 2 percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday — beef stew, cornbread, creamed peas, brownies;

Tuesday — grilled cheese sandwich, tomato basil soup, green beans, fruit cup;

Wednesday — herb baked chicken, cauliflower, baked beans, cake;

Thursday — spaghetti and meatballs, green bean casserole, spiced applesauce;

Friday — baked tilapia, steamed rice, mixed veggies, pineapple cake.

Activities

Monday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; beading class, 12:30 p.m.; haircuts, 9 a.m.; poker, 1 p.m.;

Tuesday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; crafty ladies, 12:30 p.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.;

Wednesday — Walmart, 9:30 a.m.; blind support, 12:30 p.m.; Healthcare Partners seminar, 9:30 a.m.;

Thursday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.;

Friday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Aug. 26 — Aug. 30:

Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Monday — turkey divan, steamed carrots, tossed salad, whole wheat roll, applesauce;

Tuesday — lentil soup, oriental shrimp salad, green beans almondine, garlic bread, pineapple slices, ginger cookies;

Wednesday — honey mustard chicken, steak fries, California blend veggies, green salad, Jell-O with fruit;

Thursday — baked liver and onions, mashed potatoes, gravy, mexicorn, tomatoes vinaigrette, whole wheat bread, sliced peaches;

Friday — Breakfast: scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, fruit cocktail, coffee, orange juice, tea.
