Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of: Nov. 9 – Nov. 13. Two percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday — chicken tetrazzini, mixed veggies, pudding, soup;

Tuesday — pork chop suey, rice, fruit cup, soup;

Wednesday — Closed – Veterans Day;

Thursday — country fried steak, mashed potatoes, carrots, cake, soup;

Friday – tilapia, rice pilaf, Brussel sprouts, brownies, soup.



Monday — exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; haircuts, 9 a.m.; beading class, 12:30 p.m.; United Healthcare, 10 a.m.;

Tuesday — exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.;

Wednesday — Closed – Veterans Day;

Thursday — exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; Senior Dimensions open enrollment, 10 a.m.; Rockhounds meeting, 4 – 7 p.m.;

Friday — exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.; Infinity Hospice Seminar, “Communication That Connects”, 10 a.m.


Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Nov. 9 – Nov. 13

Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Breakfast served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Monday — Roma burger on bun, corn on the cob, baked beans, cantaloupe, chocolate chip cookie, onion soup;

Tuesday — chicken enchiladas, refried beans, mixed veggies, birthday cake, albondigas soup;

Wednesday — Closed – Veterans Day;

Thursday — grilled cheese sandwich, zucchini, sliced tomatoes, apple crisp, lentil soup;

Friday — cinnamon rolls, sausage, scrambled eggs, oatmeal, yogurt and fruit, orange juice.


Beatty Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Nov. 9 – Nov. 13

Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Beatty Senior Center from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Monday — waffles, bacon, eggs, oatmeal, yogurt, fresh fruit;

Tuesday — pork roast, roasted vegetables, dinner roll, applesauce;

Wednesday — Closed – Veterans Day;

Thursday — Tuscan tomato soup, deviled eggs, broccoli salad, melon, oatmeal bread;

Friday — chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, mixed vegetables, green salad, 7-grain bread w/jelly, apricots, oatmeal cookie.

“The Community Easter Picnic was a huge success,” Pahrump Holiday Task Force chair Linda Wright raved following the group’s annual, large-scale event, noting that she and her entire team were very pleased with the turnout. The event on April 8 attracted 1,000 people to the park, organizers said.
