The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of Dec. 1 – Dec. 5:

2 percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday — bacon hash brown casserole, Lima beans, peaches;

Tuesday — meatloaf, mashed potatoes, green beans, apple crisp;

Wednesday — turkey pot pie, broccoli salad, yogurt;

Thursday — beef/pork-stuffed peppers, mixed veggies, cookie;

Friday — herb baked chicken, au gratin potatoes, glazed carrots, pudding.

Activities

Monday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; beading class, 12:30 p.m.; haircuts, 9 a.m.; poker, 12:30 p.m.; Republican Women meet, 7 p.m.;

Tuesday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.;

Wednesday — Humana open enrollment, 9:30 a.m.; crafty ladies, 12:30 p.m.; shopping day, 9:30 a.m.;

Thursday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; R.A.G.E., 9:30 a.m.; karaoke with David, 1 p.m.;

Friday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.; poker, 12:30 p.m.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Dec. 1 – Dec. 5:

2 percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Breakfast served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Fridays.

Monday — French dip sandwich with au jus, baked onion rings, steamed broccoli, pineapple upside down cake;

Tuesday — chicken parmesan, garlic bread, Brussels sprouts, birthday cake;

Wednesday — baked liver and onions, mashed potatoes with gravy, steamed zucchini, chocolate chip cookies;

Thursday — grilled cheese sandwich, tomato soup, seasoned lima beans and carrots, cinnamon pumpkin torte;

Friday — French toast, country fries, sausage, scrambled eggs, oatmeal.
