The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of July 3 – July 7. Two percent milk and juice available daily:
Monday – Hot dog/hamburger, coleslaw, potato salad, apple pie, soup;
Tuesday — CLOSED – Independence Day;
Wednesday – Chef’s salad, whole wheat roll, carrot/celery sticks, mandarin oranges, cake, soup;
Thursday — Herb-baked chicken, baked beans, corn, veggie medley, whole wheat bread, apple, soup;
Friday – Lemon-baked fish, parsley potatoes, zucchini, Waldorf salad, whole wheat roll, fruit, soup.

Tuesday — CLOSED – Independence Day;
Wednesday — Desert View Hospital monthly birthday cake celebrating all July birthdays; Crafty Ladies, 12:30 p.m.;
Thursday — Men’s breakfast, 8 a.m.; S.H.I.P., 10 a.m., exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; Rippets, (knitting and crocheting), 10 a.m.; haircuts, 1 p.m.;
Friday — T.O.P.S. meeting, 7 a.m.; exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.
Amargosa Valley Senior Center
The menu (subject to change) for the week of July 3 – July 7:
One percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Breakfast served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Monday — Lemon baked fish, whole wheat roll, green peas, long-grain brown rice, tossed salad, creamy Italian dressing, grapes;
Tuesday — CLOSED – Independence Day;
Wednesday — Lasagna, steamed cauliflower, garden salad, whole wheat garlic toast;
Thursday — Baked chicken tenders, French baked potatoes, beets in orange sauce, garbanzo salad, cracked wheat bread w/ butter, ambrosia;
Friday — French toast, scrambled eggs, low-sodium bacon, pears, oatmeal.
Beatty Senior Center
The menu (subject to change) for the week of July 3 – July 7:
One percent milk available. Meals are served at the Beatty Senior Center from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Tuesday — CLOSED – Independence Day;
Wednesday – BBQ chicken, sour cream potato salad, steamed spinach, corn on the cob, whole wheat roll, fresh orange;
Thursday — Chicken and dumplings, green peas, carrot and raisin salad, mixed fruit, whole wheat roll;
Friday – Oven fried chicken, baked potato, steamed peas and carrots.
