Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of Nov. 10 - Nov. 14:

2 percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday — spaghetti and meatballs, squash, applesauce;

Tuesday — closed;

Wednesday — pork chop suey, rice, fruit cup;

Thursday — nachos, corn, ice cream;

Friday — tilapia, rice pilaf, Brussels sprouts, cake.

Activities

Monday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; beading class, 12:30 p.m.; haircuts, 9 a.m.; poker, 12:30 p.m.; R.A.G.E. open enrollment, 9:30 a.m.;

Tuesday — closed;

Wednesday — Humana open enrollment, 9:30 a.m., crafty ladies, 12:30 p.m.; Walmart shopping day;

Thursday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; Senior Dimensions open enrollment, 9:30 a.m.;

Friday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.; poker, 12:30 p.m.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Nov. 10 - Nov. 14:

2 percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Breakfast served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Fridays.

Monday — beef pot roast with gravy, mashed potatoes, roasted veggies, dinner roll, peach crisp;

Tuesday — closed;

Wednesday — apple-topped pork chops, baked sweet potatoes, spinach with mushrooms, Rice Krispies Treat;

Thursday — stuffed peppers, pasta with sauce, carrot and raisin salad, dinner roll;

Friday — pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, oatmeal, pineapple chunks with yogurt, coffee, tea, orange juice.

Bus service for those interested in eating at the senior center: Monday, pick up between 3 and 4 p.m., Mecca Road between Route 373 and Miner Road. Drop off after dinner at 5 p.m.

Friday, pick up between 8 and 9 a.m. Farm Road between School Lane and Tamarack Road. Drop off after breakfast at 10 a.m.
