Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of Nov. 3 - Nov. 7:

2 percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday — barbecue chicken, baked potato, corn, yogurt;

Tuesday — meatloaf, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans, cake;

Wednesday — grilled ham and cheese sandwich, Normandy veggies, fruit cup;

Thursday — battered fish, tater tots, carrots, ice cream;

Friday — open-faced roast beef sandwich, mashed potatoes with gravy, pudding.

Monday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; beading class, 12:30 p.m.; haircuts, 9 a.m.; poker, 12:30 p.m.; book signing for Steve Johnson, 9 a.m. to noon;

Tuesday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.; nuclear care seminar, 10 a.m.; Humana open enrollment, 9:30 a.m.;

Wednesday — Senior Dimensions open enrollment, 9:30 a.m., crafty ladies, 12:30 p.m.; Walmart shopping day;

Thursday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; Senior Dimensions open enrollment, 9:30 a.m.,

Friday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.; poker, 12:30 p.m.; Senior Dimensions open enrollment, 9:30 a.m.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Nov. 3 - Nov. 7:

2 percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Breakfast served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Fridays.

Monday — meatloaf, mashed potatoes with gravy, steamed spinach, whole wheat roll, peach crisp;

Tuesday — shredded pork sandwich with barbecue sauce, fries, California blend veggies, chocolate chip cookies;

Wednesday — chunky chicken and bean soup, tortilla chips, butternut squash;

Thursday — pepperoni pizza, tater tots, broccoli salad, vanilla yogurt;

Friday — biscuits and gravy, bacon, scrambled eggs, oatmeal, fresh fruit, coffee, tea, orange juice.

Bus service for those interested in eating at the senior center: Monday, pick up between 3 and 4 p.m., Mecca Road between Route 373 and Miner Road. Drop off after dinner at 5 p.m.

Friday, pick up between 8 and 9 a.m. Farm Road between School Lane and Tamarack Road. Drop off after breakfast at 10 a.m.
