Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of: Sept. 21 – Sept. 25 Two percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday — chili cheese nachos, corn, ice cream, soup;

Tuesday — herb baked chicken, scalloped potatoes, broccoli, bread pudding, soup;

Wednesday — breaded pork chop, Rice-a Roni, glazed carrots, cupcakes, soup;

Thursday — meatball sub, mixed veggies, fruit cup;

Friday – tilapia, rice pilaf, zucchini, yogurt pie, soup.

 

Activities

Monday — Haircuts, 9 a.m.–11 a.m.; Creekside Hospice BP checks, 9:30 a.m.; exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; square dance class, 10 a.m.-11 a.m.; beading class, 12:30 p.m.;

Tuesday — exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.;

Wednesday — Albertsons/Savon Flu Shot and Pneumonia Shot Clinic, 9 a.m. to noon; Crafty Ladies, 12:30 p.m.;

Thursday —Old Men's Club Breakfast, 7 a.m. - 9 a.m.; exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; haircuts, 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.;

Friday — T.O.P.S. meeting, 7 a.m. – 9 a.m.; exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; Patient Care Home Health BP checks, 10 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.

 

 

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Sept. 21 – Sept. 25

Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Breakfast served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Monday — roast beef with red potatoes, mashed potatoes and gravy, peas and carrots, whole wheat roll, banana pudding;

Tuesday — Arroz con Pollo, mixed vegetables, spinach salad, apple cranberry pear crisp;

Wednesday —pepperoni and veggie pizzas, fresh salad, relish tray, mixed fruit, chocolate chip cookies;

Thursday — beef enchiladas, Spanish rice, refried beans, fruit cocktail, churros;

Friday — Pancakes with blueberry topping, bacon, scrambled eggs, oatmeal, yogurt and fruit.
