Business Profile: Ana Tarango

Ana Tarango

Diva’s Fashion

1520 E. Highway 372

Suite C

702-479-8022

Background: “This was my first attempt at being in retail. We were in business for three months. We sell women’s clothing and girls clothing but no men. We will be having a going out of business sale starting on Tuesday, and everything will be 50 percent off. We couldn’t compete with Walmart’s cheap prices. People would come in to browse, but not enough buyers.”

First job: “I worked for Taco Bell in Arizona, where I lived for 18 years.”

Personal: “I really didn’t relax much. We would go to California looking for clothing bargains.”

Business climate: “We wanted to start a clothing business in this town because there were no other places to buy clothes in this town. If I were to do something different, I would get a bigger place so that the inventory was bigger. I would like to start another business, but that is a maybe. This place is a beautiful place to live.”
