Age: 70

Years in business: “I have been doing holsters for one-and-a-half years.”

Background: “I bought a gun and I didn’t like the choices of holsters available to me so I made my own. I am self-taught in this business. People liked my holster and said I should be selling them. I used to be a fleet manager at Fletcher Jones Chevrolet in Las Vegas. I am now semi-retired. I still work a bit at Mountain Falls where I help mow the golf course.”

First Job: “My first job was in landscaping and I guess it will be my last.”

Personal: “My wife and I love to take trips on our Harley. We just did a 34-day trip to Missouri in which we saw 12 states.”

Business Climate: “I mold holsters to your gun. Many holster sellers sell the ones that are machine made. Mine are all custom and fitted to your gun. This is done so it fits your gun only. I can put straps on it or even jewelry.”
