Background: “I started in the restaurant business and I was a waiter and a bartender. You have to be a good salesperson and good with people to be in real estate and being in the restaurant business prepared me for that. Before I started selling real estate, I sold homes for Fleetwood here in Pahrump and I did that for about three years. Real estate is a great business, but you have to be an extroverted personality and again, a people person.”
First job: “I got a job as a busboy at 12. That was my first restaurant job.”
Personal: “I enjoy playing music. I play in two bands, the B-Side Blues and Ear Candy. I work hard to play my music.”
Business climate: “Things are doing well in Pahrump as far as selling homes. It’s not as good as 2004-2006. It was really good then and people were lining up to buy a home. The one thing about real estate is there is no job security if you are not a salesperson, and you have to be able to manage your money. I will go a month or two without selling a home, and then I will sell three or more in a row.”
