• Heidi Katarina Breakfield was charged on April 28 with possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of a controlled substance, both felonies.

• Jose Williams Portillo was charged on April 24 with domestic battery with use of a deadly weapon and false imprisonment, both felonies.

• Anthony Nick Busse was charged on April 23 with burglary, a felony.

• Lee Shanley was charged on April 24 with domestic battery, a misdemeanor.

• Joseph Charles Hallenback Jr., was charged on April 24 with domestic battery, two counts, both misdemeanors.

• Brian Karl Turner was charged on April 23 with unlawful trespass upon land, a misdemeanor.

• Elmer Longberry was charged on April 23 with driving on highway having multiple marked lanes for traffic and driving under the influence of alcohol, both misdemeanors.

US 95 head-on crash kills one in Nye County

The Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash along US 95 at approximately 2 a.m. on Monday morning, May 13, according to Pahrump Valley Fire and Rescue Services Chief Scott Lewis.
