District Attorney’s report • Oct. 14

The public information below was provided by the Nye County District Attorney’s office.

• Jason Christopher Miranda was charged on Sept. 27 with unlawful use of a controlled substance, a felony.

• Darian L. Martin was charged on Oct. 3 with battery by a prisoner, a felony.

• Marcelo Rene Morales Jr., was charged on Oct. 4 with burglary, a felony.

• Michael Edward Houlihan was charged on Oct. 5 with battery by a prisoner, attempted battery by a prisoner and habitual criminal, all felonies.

• Vivien M. Hannah was charged on Oct. 5 with unlawful use of a controlled substance, a felony and possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor.

• Roy Nathaniel Johnson III was charged on Oct. 5 with injuring or tampering with a motor vehicle, a gross misdemeanor.

• James L. Thompson was charged on Oct. 3 with injuring or tampering with a motor vehicle and disturbing the peace, both misdemeanors.

• Kirsty Renee Robbins was charged on Oct. 3 with injuring or tampering with a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor.

• Kenneth Avery Penner was charged on Oct. 5 with possession of a controlled substance, a felony; possession of drug paraphernalia, windshield and windows must be unobstructed, and driving while license cancelled, revoked or suspended (DUI related), a misdemeanors.

• Benjamin Taber was charged on Oct. 4 with battery by a prisoner, a felony; battery upon a peace officer, a gross misdemeanor; and resisting public officer and possession of drug paraphernalia, both misdemeanors.

• Jackie Lynn Walkden was charged on Sept. 29 with domestic battery, a misdemeanor.

• James Robert Haight was charged on Sept. 30 with petit larceny, a misdemeanor.

• Tania Elena Haight was charged on Sept. 30 with petit larceny, a misdemeanor.

• John Louros was charged on Sept. 30 with torture or cruelty to animal, two counts; and dog license required, two counts, both misdemeanors.
