District Attorney’s report, March 11

James Darryl Smith was charged on Jan. 19 with possession of a controlled substance, a felony.

Dennis James Barker was charged on Feb. 24 with forgery, two counts, a felony.

Gary Edgar Nalley was charged on Feb. 25 with coercion, a felony; and battery, a misdemeanor.

Danielle Eaton was charged on Feb. 26 with offer, attempt, or commission of unauthorized act(s) relating to controlled substance, first offense; conspiracy to violate the uniform controlled substance act; and possession of a controlled substance, all felonies.

Steven A. Suttles was charged on March 1 with possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of a controlled substance, both felonies.

Cody Robert Barnes was charged on March 2 with attempted murder with use of a firearm; assault with a deadly weapon, two counts; attempted kidnapping in second degree with use of deadly weapon; child abuse and neglect with use of a deadly weapon; discharging firearm at or into structure or vehicle, seven counts; and aggravated stalking with use of a firearm, all felonies.

Kristy Rechalle Finnegan was charged on March 2 with attempted murder with use of a firearm; assault with a deadly weapon, two counts; attempted kidnapping in second degree with use of deadly weapon; child abuse and neglect with use of a deadly weapon; discharging firearm at or into structure or vehicle, seven counts, all felonies.

Heaven Leigh Rocha was charged on March 1 with conspiracy to violate the uniform controlled substance act and trafficking in a schedule I controlled substance, both felonies.

Jason Thomas Gettle was charged on Feb. 11 with improper display of license plate; no driver’s license in possession; security for payment of tort liabilities required; obstructing a public officer; and resisting public officer, all misdemeanors.

Sheryl Meredith Lopez was charged on Feb. 29 with petit larceny, a misdemeanor.

David Leland England was charged on Feb. 26 with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, first offense, a misdemeanor.

Ashlee Lynn Kelly was charged on Feb. 26 with petit larceny and offense involving stolen property, both misdemeanors.

Shelby Maurice Thomas was charged on Feb. 22 with petit larceny, a misdemeanor.

Anthony Michael Banuelos was charged on Feb. 25 with speeding 16-20 mph over limit; driving while license cancelled, revoked or suspended; and security for payment of tort liabilities required, all misdemeanors.

Christina Diane Michalsky was charged on Feb. 25 with battery, two counts, a misdemeanor.

Nicholas Pearson was charged on March 3 with basic speed and driving without a valid license, both misdemeanors.

Brittany Ann Jaggers was charged on March 2 with theft, a misdemeanor.

Kenneth Avery Penner was charged on Feb. 29 with driving while license cancelled, revoked or suspended, a misdemeanor.

Pahrump Valley Fire and Rescue Services Chief Scott Lewis told the Pahrump Valley Times that crews were dispatched to a report of a serious two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Sandpebble Street and Kellogg Road on the south end of the valley at approximately 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 8.

US 95 head-on crash kills one in Nye County

The Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash along US 95 at approximately 2 a.m. on Monday morning, May 13, according to Pahrump Valley Fire and Rescue Services Chief Scott Lewis.
