District Attorney’s report, March 27

• Laura Ann Creighton was charged on March 20 with possession of a controlled substance; unlawful use of a controlled substance; and trafficking in a schedule I controlled substance, three counts, all felonies.

• Robert Lieberman was charged on March 17 with failure to appear after admission to bail, a felony.

• Tia Diane Dircio was charged on March 16 with unlawful use of a controlled substance, a felony; resisting public officer; and injury to property, both misdemeanors.

• Denico Tyler Yelvington was charged on March 13 with uttering forged instrument, a felony; and conspiracy to utter a forged instrument, a gross misdemeanor.

• Harjinder Kumar was charged on March 10 with conspiracy to unlawfully possess drug paraphernalia with intent to sell, a gross misdemeanor.

• Cody Robert Barnes was charged on March 11 with domestic battery, a misdemeanor.

• Mark Aleta was charged on March 18 with burning of solid waste or recyclables, a misdemeanor.

• Brandon McAdams was charged on March 18 with burning of solid waste or recyclables, a misdemeanor.

• Michael Thomas Mullins was charged on March 18 with unlawful trespass upon land, a misdemeanor.

• Curtis Raymond Day was charged on March 12 with battery, a misdemeanor.

US 95 head-on crash kills one in Nye County

The Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash along US 95 at approximately 2 a.m. on Monday morning, May 13, according to Pahrump Valley Fire and Rescue Services Chief Scott Lewis.
