District Attorney’s report, Nov. 14

• Ian Christian Olsen was charged on Nov. 3 with assault upon a school employee with a deadly weapon, a felony.

• Shane Marie Kiley was charged on Oct. 30 with unlawful use of a controlled substance, a felony and driving under the influence of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor.

• Ruben Ruiz Palomino was charged on Nov. 3 with sexual assault of a child under 14 and lewdness with a child under 14 years of age, both felonies.

• Roberto Jimenez Gonzalez aka Oso was charged on Nov. 3 with sexual assault of a child under 14 and lewdness with a child under 14 years of age, three counts, all felonies.

• Octavia Elliot was charged on Nov. 3 with domestic battery with use of a deadly weapon, a felony.

• Nicholas Paul Barnard was charged on Oct. 27 with burglary, a felony, false imprisonment, a gross misdemeanor, and petit larceny, a misdemeanor.

• Carlos Ibarra-Roque was charged on Oct. 24 with driving under the influence of alcohol, second offense; failure to signal; unlawful overtaking of vehicle; failure to stop upon signal of peace officer; unsafe turn or stop; having open container of alcoholic beverage within passenger area of motor vehicle while on highway; drinking alcoholic beverage while driving motor vehicle; driving without valid license; security for payment of tort liabilities required, all misdemeanors, and possession of dangerous weapon, first offense, a gross misdemeanor.

• Jose Williams Portillo was charged on Nov. 3 with domestic battery and harassment, two counts, all misdemeanors.

• Deborah Susan Reilly was charged on Nov. 3 with domestic battery, second offense, a misdemeanor.

• David Bradley Turner was charged on Oct. 14 with domestic battery, a misdemeanor.

• Serenity Faith Crain-Schroeder was charged on Oct. 30 with driving under the influence of alcohol; having open container of alcoholic beverage within passenger area of motor vehicle while on highway; drinking alcoholic beverage while driving motor vehicle; purchase, consumption or possession of alcoholic beverage by minor and child abuse and neglect, all misdemeanors.

• Tracey Susanne Powers was charged on Oct. 10 with running at large.

• David Leland England was charged on Nov. 3 with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving without a valid license, both misdemeanors.

• Troy Laramore was charged on Oct. 30 with driving under the influence of alcohol, duty to stop at scene of accident involving damage to vehicle or property and immediate notice to police officer of accident involving damage to vehicle or property, all misdemeanors.

US 95 head-on crash kills one in Nye County

The Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash along US 95 at approximately 2 a.m. on Monday morning, May 13, according to Pahrump Valley Fire and Rescue Services Chief Scott Lewis.

Impact fees rising for new development in Pahrump
