The public information below was provided by the Nye County District Attorney’s office.

• Richard T. Moore was charged on Aug. 30 with ex-felon in possession of firearm(s); discharging firearm at or into structure, vehicle, aircraft or watercraft, both felonies; and aiming a firearm at a human being; discharging a firearm where person might be endangered, a gross misdemeanor.

David Brian Jones was charged on Aug. 31 with offer, attempt or commission of unauthorized act(s) relating to controlled substance, first offense, three counts, a felony.

• John Michael Dillman was charged on Aug. 31 with unlawful use of a controlled substance, a felony.

• Kyle B. Webb was charged on Aug. 31 with possession of a controlled substance, a felony; possession of instrument with burglarious intent, a gross misdemeanor; and possession of drug paraphernalia; possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, first offense; unlawful possession of a hypodermic device; allowing cat or dog to remain unattended in motor vehicle during period of extreme heat or cold; and certain unlawful acts, all misdemeanors.

• Rachael Michelle Reese was charged on Aug. 31 with burglary; obtaining or possessing credit card without consent of cardholder, both felonies; and attempted fraudulent use of a credit card, two counts, a gross misdemeanor.

• Michael Paul Knutson was charged on Aug. 31 with burglary, a felony; abuse of an older person, a gross misdemeanor; and battery, a misdemeanor.

• Patricia L. Fochler was charged on Sept. 1 with possession of a controlled substance, a felony; and possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor.

• Nicole Camille Maxwell was charged on Sept. 2 with burglary, two counts; obtaining or possessing credit or debit card without consent of cardholder; unlawful use of a controlled substance; fraudulent use of a credit card, all felonies and conspiracy to commit a crime(s), a gross misdemeanor.

• Robert J. Osborne was charged on Sept. 2 with burglary, obtaining or possessing credit or debit card without consent of cardholder, fraudulent use of a credit card, all felonies; and conspiracy to commit a crime(s), a gross misdemeanor.

• Christian Lee La Der was charged on Sept. 6 with unlawful use of a controlled substance; robbery with use of a deadly weapon; grand larceny of a motor vehicle; assault with a deadly weapon; trafficking in a schedule I controlled substance, two counts; and obtaining and using personal identifying information of another person to harm or impersonate person, to obtain certain nonpublic records or for other unlawful purpose, all felonies; and aiming a firearm at a human being; discharging a firearm where person might be endangered, a gross misdemeanor.

• John Tony Whitesell was charged on Sept. 8 with attempted burglary, a felony.

• Marissa Weatherholt was charged on Sept. 8 with burglary and invasion of the home, both felonies; conspiracy to commit theft, a gross misdemeanor; and injury to other property, petit larceny, offense involving stolen property and obstructing a public officer, all misdemeanors.

• Rick Dean Henrickson was charged on Sept. 8 with burglary, invasion of the home, and offense involving stolen vehicle, all felonies; conspiracy to commit theft, a gross misdemeanor; and injury to other property, a misdemeanor.

• Aaron Seth Taylor was charged on Sept. 9 with trafficking in a schedule I controlled substance, a felony; possession of drug paraphernalia; and unlawful possession of a hypodermic device, both misdemeanors.

• Justin Kainoa McGuire was charged on July 11 with unsafe passing; driving without a valid license; security for payment of tort liabilities required; operation of off-highway vehicle on undesignated paved highway; and duties of operator of off-highway vehicle on highway, all misdemeanors.

• Matthew Michael Ensley was charged on Sept. 9 with open or gross lewdness and indecent or obscene exposure, both gross misdemeanors.

• Robert Lynn Vaughn was charged on Aug. 25 with obtaining money under false pretenses, less than $650, a misdemeanor.

• Sean C. Laughlin was charged on Aug. 25 with obtaining money under false pretenses, less than $650 and theft, less than $650, both misdemeanors.

Pinkbox opening in Pahrump Nugget

Motorcycle rider flown to UMC Trauma

Pahrump Valley Fire and Rescue Services Chief Scott Lewis told the Pahrump Valley Times that crews were dispatched to a report of a serious two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Sandpebble Street and Kellogg Road on the south end of the valley at approximately 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 8.

US 95 head-on crash kills one in Nye County

The Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash along US 95 at approximately 2 a.m. on Monday morning, May 13, according to Pahrump Valley Fire and Rescue Services Chief Scott Lewis.

Impact fees rising for new development in Pahrump

The cost for new construction in Pahrump has now officially gone up following impact fee increases approved by the Nye County Commission, which went into effect as of Tuesday, May 7.
