The Gypsy Shack

1201 S. Highway 160

Suite 101, 775-253-4340

Age: 61

Background: “The Gypsy Shack is a spiritual store. We are a metaphysical store and we sell oils, candles, incense and many other different things. At the store you can get herbs for healing and also take classes in Tarot card readings. We also have Reiki and hypnosis. This is all part of what I have believed my entire life. Gypsy is a lifestyle of wanderers and healers. We are not a religion or a nationality. All my knowledge was passed down from my father to me. We have been around Pahrump for the last 18 years.”

Years in business: “We have been in business for two years.”

First job: “I made salads for a restaurant when I was 14.”

Personal: “I never don’t work, but when I have spare time, I like to meditate. I live my business. I also enjoy music and dancing.”

Business climate: “One thing that makes our store competitive in this climate is the fact that we run some things in here on consignment. We are also a unique and different store. We carry everything from clothing to vintage items. I just think we are unique.”
