BUSINESS: Desert View Hospital Director of Marketing and Physician Liaison

AGE: 31

BACKGROUND: “I have a degree in communications. Before I came to Desert View I was working in marketing for another health care facility. I like where I am because of all the growth at the hospital. I enjoy telling the people here in Pahrump about all the services that are now available in our community.”

FIRST JOB: “My first job ever was working in daycare. I was an assistant manager. Then my first job after college was as a newspaper reporter.”

YEARS IN BUSINESS: “I have been in the business for the past five years in marketing and health care related fields. I got involved because marketing has always appealed to me. I enjoy the aspect of being able to talk to people as well as the designing of ads and the writing.”

PERSONAL: “I enjoy being with my family. I love spending time with my 3-year-old daughter. I love shopping with her and we love spending time outdoors.”

BUSINESS CLIMATE: “I would say the business climate is fantastic. We have changed the image of this hospital, which has allowed us to grow. The community is very receptive to these changes and are happy with the changes that have come to the hospital. Our new emergency physicians are a great example.
