Background: “I am National Academy of Sports Medicine certified as a personal trainer and I am also certified to work with senior citizens in fitness and nutrition. I am a crossfit trainer and have been doing that for about a year in Las Vegas.

Crossfit is constant varied movement and you are always doing something different. I was in Las Vegas, where my class was growing, but I wanted to come home. I was raised in Pahrump.”

Personal: “I love hiking and rock climbing. I am passionate about anything that involves exercise.”

Business Climate: “We are not a normal gym. You won’t find this place full of machines and weights. You are always under guidance at this gym. I would say we are a specialty gym. My classes are growing and I will have them all next week except the Fourth of July. My class times next week are: Monday through Wednesday and Friday: 10 a.m.-11 a.m., 5 p.m.-6 p.m., 6 p.m.-7 p.m. and 7 p.m.-8 p.m.” (for more times call Riley.)

US 95 head-on crash kills one in Nye County

The Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash along US 95 at approximately 2 a.m. on Monday morning, May 13, according to Pahrump Valley Fire and Rescue Services Chief Scott Lewis.
