The public information below was provided by the Nye County District Attorney’s office.

• Colby Chmiel was charged on July 28 with theft, $3,500 or more, a felony.

• Eboni Shajuana Cockerham was charged on July 28 with third degree arson, a felony.

• Timothy Flattery was charged on July 28 with unlawful use of a controlled substance, a felony.

• Craig Alan Sapp was charged on Aug. 3 with unlawful use of a controlled substance, a felony; and petty larceny, a misdemeanor.

• Jaime R. Foster was charged on Au. 3 with unlawful use of a controlled substance, a felony.

• Edward K. Purvis was charged on Aug. 3 with offer, attempt, or commission of unauthorized act(s) relating to controlled substance, first offense, a felony; and child abuse and neglect, a gross misdemeanor.

• Clayton Andrew Walker was charged on Aug. 3 with unlawful use of a controlled substance, a felony.

• Shawn Adam Kooi was charged on Aug. 4 with burglary and possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, both felonies; and petit larceny and resisting public officer, both misdemeanors.

• Roger Eugene Corona was charged on Aug. 4 with battery with use of a deadly weapon on an older person, two counts; and battery with use of a deadly weapon, all felonies.

• Rebecca Marie Edwards was charged on Aug. 7 with possession of a controlled substance, a felony; and driving while license cancelled, revoked or suspended and possession of drug paraphernalia, both misdemeanors.

• Jose Ignacio Gomez-Moreno was charged on Aug. 7 with unlawful use of a controlled substance, a felony; driving under the influence of alcohol and/or controlled substance and/or with prohibited substance in blood; possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, first offense; and speeding, 11-20 mph over limit, all misdemeanors.

• Donald Edward Hanna Jr. was charged on Aug. 7 with prohibited person in possession of firearm, a felony; and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, first offense; and possession of drug paraphernalia, both misdemeanors.

• Graham Nicholas Tackett was charged on Aug. 7 with unlawful use of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance, both felonies.

• Raymond Delbert Rogers Jr., was charged on Aug. 9 with grand larceny committed with the assistance of a child and burglary committed with the assistance of a child, five counts, all felonies; and obtaining money under false pretenses and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, both misdemeanors.

• Rosezella Brown was charged on Aug. 3 with violation of temporary harassment/stalking protection order, a gross misdemeanor.

• Brandi Nicole Catron was charged on July 12 with driving under the influence of alcohol, a misdemeanor.

• Arthur Baker was charged on July 28 with littering, a misdemeanor.

• Dawn Michelle Fletcher was charged on July 31 with battery, a misdemeanor.

• Robert L. Carter was charged on Aug. 1 with petit larceny, a misdemeanor.

• Robert Fancher was charged on Aug. 1 with petit larceny, a misdemeanor.

• Michael Wood was charged on Aug. 8 with unlawful trespass upon land and theft, both misdemeanors.

Pinkbox opening in Pahrump Nugget

Pahrump man injured in gunfire with deputy

Nye County Sheriff Joe McGill told the Pahrump Valley Times the incident occurred at a residence along Bunarch Road at approximately 7:30 a.m. on May 14.

Motorcycle rider flown to UMC Trauma

Pahrump Valley Fire and Rescue Services Chief Scott Lewis told the Pahrump Valley Times that crews were dispatched to a report of a serious two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Sandpebble Street and Kellogg Road on the south end of the valley at approximately 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 8.

US 95 head-on crash kills one in Nye County

The Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash along US 95 at approximately 2 a.m. on Monday morning, May 13, according to Pahrump Valley Fire and Rescue Services Chief Scott Lewis.
