Nye County District Attorney’s report

The public information below was provided by the Nye County District Attorney’s office.

• Joseph Mondragon was charged on May 30 with eluding peace officer while under the influence of intoxicating liquor and/or controlled substance and/or with prohibited substance in blood, a felony; driving under the influence of alcohol; obstructing a public officer; resisting public officer; driving while license cancelled, revoked or suspended; and duty to stop at scene of accident involving damage to vehicle or property, all misdemeanors.

• Kevin S. Jolley was charged on June 13 with child abuse or neglect, two counts, a felony; and domestic battery and battery, both misdemeanors.

• Robert Hill was charged on June 6 with domestic battery, a misdemeanor.

• David Ricker was charged on June 8 with indecent or obscene exposure, a gross misdemeanor.

• Crystal Elaine Griffith was charged on June 15 with unlawful taking of a vehicle, a gross misdemeanor.

• Jeresa Nicole Trstensky was charged on May 25 with driving under the influence of alcohol, a misdemeanor.

• Harold Francis Reed was charged on June 1 with driving under the influence of alcohol, a misdemeanor.

• Tory Kelly was charged on June 7 with battery, a misdemeanor.

• Katherine Kazzar Alexander was charged on June 8 with unlawful trespass upon land, a misdemeanor.

• Donald Lee Gibson was charged on June 12 with driving under the influence of alcohol; and failure to maintain travel lane, both misdemeanors.

• Robert A. Ryles was charged on June 13 with disturbing the peace, a misdemeanor.

Pinkbox opening in Pahrump Nugget

Pahrump man injured in gunfire with deputy

Nye County Sheriff Joe McGill told the Pahrump Valley Times the incident occurred at a residence along Bunarch Road at approximately 7:30 a.m. on May 14.

Motorcycle rider flown to UMC Trauma

Pahrump Valley Fire and Rescue Services Chief Scott Lewis told the Pahrump Valley Times that crews were dispatched to a report of a serious two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Sandpebble Street and Kellogg Road on the south end of the valley at approximately 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 8.

US 95 head-on crash kills one in Nye County

The Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash along US 95 at approximately 2 a.m. on Monday morning, May 13, according to Pahrump Valley Fire and Rescue Services Chief Scott Lewis.
