Nye County District Attorney’s Report

The public information below was provided by the Nye County District Attorney’s office.

• Helmut Bammer was charged on May 8 with unlawful acts against certain public utilities, $500 or more, a felony.

• William Michael Redwitz was charged on June 27 with lewdness with a child under 16 years of age; attempted sexual assault upon a child under 16 years of age; and sexual assault upon a child under 16 years of age, all felonies.

• Lucille Moragne was charged on June 28 with theft, a felony.

• Andre Albert Villa was charged on June 29 with ownership or possession of firearm by certain persons prohibited; unlawful use of a controlled substance; trafficking in schedule I controlled substances; and possession of a controlled substance, all felonies.

• Wayne Harrison Boatright was charged on June 29 with offer, attempt or commission of unauthorized act(s) relating to schedule I or II controlled substance; knowingly keeping or maintaining place where controlled substances are lawfully used, kept or sold; possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell (schedule I or II), both felonies; and attempted conspiracy to violate the uniform controlled substances act, a gross misdemeanor.

• Katherine Sheree Dial was charged on June 29 with trafficking in schedule I controlled substances, 4 to 14 grams; offer, attempt or commission of unauthorized act(s) relating to schedule I or II controlled substance; possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell (schedule I or II); and attempted conspiracy to violate the uniform controlled substance act, all felonies.

• Anita Suzette Davis was charged on June 29 with possession of a controlled substance, a felony.

• Nicholas Adam Siewerth was charged on June 30 with failure of convicted sex offender subject to lifetime registration to maintain current address, a felony

• Peter Dion Williams was charged on June 30 with failure to appear after admission to bail and habitual criminal, both felonies.

• Victor Leon Robinson Jr., was charged on July 5 with obtaining and using personal identifying information of another person to harm or impersonate person, to obtain certain nonpublic records or for other unlawful purpose, a felony; basic speed; obstructing a public officer; and car seat required, all misdemeanors.

• Shawndarro Marcel Thomas was charged on July 6 with attempted murder with use of a deadly weapon; battery with use of a deadly weapon causing substantial bodily harm; assault with a deadly weapon; robbery, all felonies; and domestic battery, a misdemeanor.

• Anthony Ray Conrad was charged on July 7 with burglary; grand larceny of a motor vehicle; and offense involving stolen vehicle, all felonies.

• Devin Jezair Riley was charged on July 7 with obtaining and using personal identifying information of another person to harm or impersonate person, to obtain certain nonpublic records or for other unlawful purpose; and habitual criminal, both felonies; unlawful trespass upon land and obtaining money under false pretenses, both misdemeanors.

• Omar Ringo was charged on July 7 with unlawful use of a controlled substance, a felony; attempting to prevent or dissuade victim, person acting on behalf of victim, or witness from reporting crime, commencing prosecution or causing arrest, a felony or gross misdemeanor; possession of a controlled substance, a felony; robbery, a felony; and assault and injury to other property, both misdemeanors.

• Anthony Denton Oliver was charged on July 11 with possession of a controlled substance, a felony.

• Edwin Padilla was charged on July 11 with child abuse and neglect, a felony.

• Gordon Frapp was charged on July 12 with offense involving stolen vehicle, a felony.

• Raymundo Garcia was charged on July 12 with transportation of a controlled substance, first offense; possession of a controlled substance, both felonies; possession of a dangerous weapon, a gross misdemeanor; and unlawful possession of a hypodermic device, a misdemeanor.

• Justin B. Fischer was charged on July 12 with possession of a controlled substance, a felony.

• David Allen Barger was charged on April 4 with harassment, first offense; and injury to other property, $25 to $250, both misdemeanors.

• Michael Carlson Campbell was charged on June 30 with petit larceny, a misdemeanor.

• Aaron McLeroy Williams was charged on July 6 with domestic battery, a misdemeanor.

• Malinda Sprouse was charged on July 7 with unlawful use of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance, both felonies; and possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor

• Chantel Annette Klein was charged on July 12 with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving on highway having multiple marked lanes for traffic, both misdemeanors..

• Donald S. Graham was charged on July 12 with duty upon damaging unattended vehicle and immediate notice to police officer of accident involving damage to vehicle, both misdemeanors.

• Danielle Renee Gummere was charged on July 12 with petit larceny, a misdemeanor.

• Donald Scott Hickman was charged on July 12 with battery and disturbing the peace, both misdemeanors.

• Bruno A. Gonzalez-Huerta was charged on July 12 with disturbing the peace, a misdemeanor.

• Cory Edward Holliday was charged on July 13 with possession of a controlled substance, a felony; and petit larceny, a misdemeanor.

Pinkbox opening in Pahrump Nugget

An illuminated oversized doughnut already overlooks Highway 160, in a central area of Pahrump where passersby will see it on their way to Death Valley. Many local leaders in the valley are excited about the grand opening of popular chain Pinkbox Doughnuts beginning at 11 a.m. on Saturday inside the Pahrump Nugget Hotel & Casino.

Pahrump man injured in gunfire with deputy

Nye County Sheriff Joe McGill told the Pahrump Valley Times the incident occurred at a residence along Bunarch Road at approximately 7:30 a.m. on May 14.

Motorcycle rider flown to UMC Trauma

Pahrump Valley Fire and Rescue Services Chief Scott Lewis told the Pahrump Valley Times that crews were dispatched to a report of a serious two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Sandpebble Street and Kellogg Road on the south end of the valley at approximately 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 8.

US 95 head-on crash kills one in Nye County

The Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash along US 95 at approximately 2 a.m. on Monday morning, May 13, according to Pahrump Valley Fire and Rescue Services Chief Scott Lewis.
