Pahrump Chapter 15 of Disabled American Veterans (DAV) meetings will resume the third Tuesday of the month in August and monthly thereafter and will be held in a new meeting place at the Nye Coalition facility (Oasis Outreach Center.)

Rummage sale

Pahrump Valley United Methodist Church, located at 1300 Highway 372, will hold a rummage sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., on Friday, August 2 and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., on Saturday, August 3.

There will be luncheon, snacks and desserts for dine-in or take-out.

Spaghetti fundraiser

Special Olympics will hold a Donation Spaghetti Dinner, including a raffle, from 3 to 6 p.m., August 4, at the Moose Lodge, located at 1100 E. Second Street.

Pahrump Valley Fire and Rescue Services Chief Scott Lewis told the Pahrump Valley Times that crews were dispatched to a report of a serious two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Sandpebble Street and Kellogg Road on the south end of the valley at approximately 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 8.

US 95 head-on crash kills one in Nye County

The Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash along US 95 at approximately 2 a.m. on Monday morning, May 13, according to Pahrump Valley Fire and Rescue Services Chief Scott Lewis.
