Physicians Choice marking 10 years in valley with community celebration

A Pahrump home health care facility is hosting a community celebration as it marks 10 years of service in the Pahrump Valley.

Linda McEachern, branch manager of Physicians Choice Home Health Care at 3190 S. Highway 160 said everyone in town is welcome to join the celebration, as a free lunch is part of the observance. The celebration is scheduled for noon.

“We want the entire community to come join us on October 7, to celebrate 10 years of service to the Pahrump community,” she said. “Lunch will be served at noon and everyone is welcome. There will be vendors, door prizes and recognition for our local physicians.”

Additionally, McEachern said the event will also serve to recognize physicians practicing in the Pahrump Valley.

“We will have vendors from various hospitals as well as HealthCare Partners and a local hospice is coming,” she said. “We have a lot of doctors in town and we are a skilled facility, meaning that Medicare recognizes us.”

Physicians Choice also has a location in Henderson and Hawaii.

Their main office is located in Utah.

“Anybody is welcome to join us,” she said. “El Chero is a local Mexican food restaurant that we enjoy and they have agreed to cater the celebration for us. The event begins at noon. It’s just our way of giving back to the community.”
