Pleasant, sunny weather ahead for next 7 days

Pahrump Valley residents can expect a pleasant week ahead, as mostly calm, sunny conditions and slightly above-average temperatures are forecast.

The National Weather Service said that temperatures over the next seven days should range between 77 and 79 degrees, with overnight lows in the mid-to-upper 50s.

No significant weather system is expected to roll through the area for at least the next seven days, offering a plethora of sunshine.

“For the most part it looks sunny for the week and we don’t have any rain chances,” said Chris Outler, National Weather Service meteorologist.
