Letter to the Editor

Animal haters should go live on the moon

There are those of us who love the song dog and it grieves us to think of them slaughtered with impunity by people with no soul. The beautiful coyote is a denizen of the desert and has every right to live.

We say to all you animal haters who are eager to kill to take your guns, your cruel traps and poisons and go live on the dark side of the moon. It’s where you belong. How much longer are we going to eradicate wildlife? And I don’t believe for a moment the negative encounters of coyotes out to take down horses, humans and schoolchildren.

With affection for all those who love the song dog and for all the better humans who are vegan and animal rights activists and wildlife advocates who wish to live in harmony with the creatures of the earth.

Anne Jacob
