Tyranny in goverment

Why is it that most politicians of both parties have no problem subsidizing the Iron Dome to protect Israel from enemy air attacks with billions of dollars in taxpayer money but claim they haven’t the funds to build a fence to protect our southern border?

Why do law-abiding citizens get rousted by perverts working for the TSA at virtually all major U.S. airports but our esteemed government officials don’t enforce the immigration laws currently on the books? Annual prostate exams by the family doctor are one thing but every time you fly?

What about the continuous and warrantless eavesdropping by the NSA of our emails/cell phone conversations and ubiquitous electronic surveillance with cameras everywhere?

Also what about the significant militarization of law enforcement and why have numerous federal agencies purchased billions of rounds of hollow point ammunition?

It seems to me that since 9/11 with the advent of Homeland Insecurity, the Patriot Act and the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), average American citizens are viewed as criminals by our corrupt, tyrannical government.

Why is that? What are they REALLY afraid of?

We need justice for our children

Our newspaper is always full of reports where people are arrested for child pornography and child pedophilia.

What I do not understand, and will never understand is WHY, when adults, who abuse children, in any way, do not go to jail – directly to jail where they are left to live out their days without any chance of ever getting out?

It is my opinion that if an adult abuses a child physically, emotionally, and/or sexually, that adult, or adults, should have absolutely no options of ever seeing daylight again.

Where is the justice for that child, or children, when the offender lives in society and is capable of offending again and again? The offender should NEVER have any other option but to be locked away and live out his life away from the public. Of course, the electric chair is too good for them.

A child who has been abused will never get over that trauma. They will be scarred for the rest of their life. Someone who takes another’s life should pay!

IT IS OUR DUTY TO PROTECT OUR CHILDREN FROM ABUSE OF ANY KIND! CHILD PORNOGRAPHY AND CHILD PEDOPHILIA IS A MENTAL DISEASE … IT IS ILLEGAL … AND IT SHOULD BE REPORTED!! CHILDREN SHOULD NOT LIVE IN FEAR OF BEING VIOLATED!

The most dangerous lies are the lies we tell ourselves and all the ways we look to justify them.

I am happy that the election campaigning is over, but most of all the absence of political ads from both parties, blatantly lying about their opponents.

As a resident of Pahrump, I have deep concerns about bringing homeless people here with the intent of reintroducing them into society.
