Memorial for Ian Deutch inspiring event

On Sunday evening, April 26, the Town of Pahrump remembered Ian Deutch. It was a very sad occasion, but a very inspiring event.

I want to thank everyone who made it possible, and everyone who participated. Special thanks to Chaplain Drake Austin, Pastor Ron Fairbairn, Sheriff Sharon Wehrly, former Sheriff Tony DeMeo, Commissioner Butch Borasky, Detective Eric Murphy, Deputy Greg Curtin, Susan Holecheck of Nathan Adelson Hospice, a truly great, magnificent musician, Nick Giordono, and Congressman Cresent Hardy.

Ian Deutch was an awesome individual. We always say good things about people after they are gone, but people were saying good things about him long before.

Thank you for those who helped at accident

I would like to say thanks to the locals as well as the visitors to the community that stopped to help at the scene of Wednesday’s accident. ( If I could remember all their names I would put them in here but you all know who you are.). Being an off duty paramedic pulling up with no equipment and no trained coworkers was difficult but the bystanders were very helpful in a very stressful situation. The citizen heroes helped with calming patients, helping maintain airways and moving patients. I know a lot was going on and lots of directions were being given but you all did a great job. Thanks also to Pahrump Fire, NHP, and the NCSO for their professional and timely response.
