Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of Nov. 4 – Nov. 8: 2 percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday — closed;

Tuesday — shepherd’s pie, spinach, cake;

Wednesday — chili dogs, baked fries, steamed broccoli, sliced pears;

Thursday — barbecue chicken, potato salad, baked beans, pudding;

Friday — baked pollock, rice pilaf, asparagus, cake.

Activities

Monday — closed;

Tuesday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; crafty ladies, 12:30 p.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.; SHIP open enrollment, 9:30 a.m.;

Wednesday — Walmart, 9:30 a.m.; Humana open enrollment, 9:30 p.m.;

Thursday — eye care seminar, 9:30 a.m.;

Friday — blood pressure/glucose checks, 9:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Nov. 4 – Nov. 8:

Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Breakfast served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Monday — baked liver and onions, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn and green beans, dinner roll, birthday cake;

Tuesday — chicken tacos, Spanish rice, steamed zucchini, Indian pudding;

Wednesday — barbecue meatloaf, scalloped potatoes, California blend veggies, dinner roll, yogurt with apricots and granola;

Thursday — stuffed peppers, pasta with sauce, carrot and raisin salad, peaches, chocolate chip cookies;

Friday — Breakfast: French toast, scrambled eggs, oatmeal, yogurt parfait, coffee, orange juice, tea.
