Bowling News:

The PVTBC will hold a Certified Singles Tournament, with handicap, on April 23 at the Pahrump Nugget. This tournament will be sponsored by Bowlers Corner. There will be 1 squad, at 1 p.m. (practice starts at 12:50). The tournament is open to active PVTBC members only (dues for 2016 need to be paid in this tournament if not paid prior).

Golf News:

Trojans Golf

Jared Ramsay shot 3-under-par 69 at Las Vegas Golf Club on Monday to earn medalist honors and lead Faith Lutheran’s boys golf team to victory in a Sunset League match.

Faith Lutheran, which also got a 72 from Greg Price and a 75 from Andrew Johnson, had a team score of 372.

Pahrump Valley took second at 427, five strokes ahead of Sierra Vista. Clark was fourth at 458.

Sierra Vista’s George Kim also shot 72. Pahrump’s Austen Ancell carded a 78.

Pahrump Valley Speedway

The cars are rolling at Pahrump Valley Speedway, all classes will be racing on Saturday at 7 p.m. Ticket prices: Adult tickets: $10, for seniors 55+: $8, children 6-14 years: $6, children age 5 and under are free, family six -pack: $30 for two adults and four kids under age 14, season pass: $180.
