Other Bowling News:

On June 2, Anthony Wilson bowled a 707 series, Jim Hargraves bowled a 300 game on June 6 and Clint Stamp bowled an 803 series on June 8.

A great way to cool off for the kids!

The summer bowling program has started for kids of all ages at the Nugget Bowling Center. Kids have two choices of days.

Monday, starting June 6, at 3:15 p.m., kids can start bowling for eight weeks. There will be a pizza and trophy party on August 8. The other day is Wednesday at 3:15 p.m., and their pizza party will be on July 27. All forms are available at the bowling center and there are still openings for both days. Cost is $5 per child per week and this includes two games of bowling with shoes and the party.

Pahrump Valley Speedway dates: June 18 all classes, July 2 all classes and July 16, special race: Sam Stringer Memorial. All races start at 7 p.m.

Horseshoe sanctioned tournaments: High Desert Showdown, June 18 in Tonopah at Joe Friel Sports Complex, doubles on June 19. July 2, the Saddle West Casino Open here in Pahrump at Petrack Park, 9:30 a.m. The state tournament will be in Tonopah on August 27 at the Joe Friel Sports Complex.
