The Nye County Commission will hammer out the final details of the county’s budget for the fiscal year starting July 1. The hearing will be teleconferenced at 10 a.m. to the commission chambers, 2100 E. Walt Williams Drive, or watch online at nyecounty.net. Additional service cuts, across-the-board cuts to departments and hiring freezes are all on the table as the county struggles to balance the budget.
