Former Trojans spiker crowned Miss Dixie State

Sara Wulfenstein, of Pahrump, was crowned the 2015-2016 Miss Dixie State University on Sept. 22nd.

Wulfenstein graduated from Pahrump Valley High School in 2012. While in high school she lettered in volleyball and was the starting setter for the team. She also was a prolific dancer on the dance team and she dabbled in race car driving. She is currently a sophomore at Dixie State, studying business administration and is a member of the Dixie State University Student Association, the student council, as the administration assistant to the Vice President of Clubs and Organizations.

Wulfenstein is also a member of the performing and recruiting group Raging Red. Her community platform for the pageant is College Bound. She will go to high schools throughout her area to promote the importance of getting further education.

In June 2016, Wulfenstein will be competing for the title of Miss Utah at the Capitol Theater in Salt Lake City, Utah.
