Bowling News: At the Pahrump Nugget: Perfect scores: Nocky Roach bowled a 300 game on Feb. 9 and then turned around and bowled another one on Feb. 23, Bernard Curtis bowled a 300 on Feb. 12 and Donovin Lusher bowled 299 on Jan. 29.

Donkey Basketball is coming. Mark your calendar for March 6 at the PVHS gym at 7 p.m. The evening is full of laughs for the entire family and it helps the high school and middle school to raise funds for special programs to reward students.

Hundreds remember Dusty Park at Pahrump Valley Speedway

It was billed as a Celebration of Life for Dusty Park, and much of the afternoon felt like a celebration. There was laughter and sharing stories among the several hundred people who gathered Sunday at Pahrump Valley Speedway to remember him.

Pahrump baseball players getting back on the field

Pahrump Valley High School baseball players learned their season ended because of the COVID-19 pandemic in early March while they were playing in a tournament in Arizona. Perhaps it’s fitting that some of those same players will be on the Trojan Gold club team that will spend this weekend playing in Arizona.

Dan Dunn and Mike Dedeic had to work overtime but came away with the victory in a horseshoes tournament Saturday hosted by the Clyde E. Newman Jr. Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10054 in Pahrump.
