Trojans break a two-game losing streak with a tie

The Trojans boys soccer team is still looking for their first league win. The boys tied another one against Faith Lutheran on Monday afternoon, 2-2.

This tie stopped a two-game losing streak, where the Trojans (4-6-3 overall, 0-5-2 Sunset League) lost to Sierra Vista 5-2 and Cheyenne 3-0 last week.

In the Sierra Vista (6-7, 5-3) game, Carlos Ortega and Eduardo Garcia each had a goal.

Against Faith Lutheran (3-10-3, 0-6-2), Arturo Morales and Nathan Vallin each scored a goal This was the second tie of the season for Pahrump. The other one was against Spring Valley.

The Trojans play The Meadows in some non-conference action today at 4:30 p.m. and then play at second place Mojave (6-4, 5-2) on Friday to start the second half of the season. The team needs a few league wins to keep out of the cellar.
