Trojans hitting goes silent against Faith Lutheran

Pahrump bats had problems on Tuesday with Faith Lutheran’s Dominic Grant, who struck out 9 and only gave up one walk in the 12-3 romp.

For the Trojans, senior Kyle Kral pitched 5 innings and was the pitcher of record for the loss. Pahrump (8-11 overall, 3-4 Sunset League) had six hits.

The Lucas brothers for Pahrump continue to pile on the hits and keep the Trojans offense going. Freshman Willie Lucas was the player of the game against the Crusaders (14-3, 7-0) and went 2-3 with 2 RBIs. Senior Kevin Finkler, sophomore Garret Lucas, junior Parker Hart and junior Drew Walker each had hits.

The Trojans are a game behind fourth-place Clark. The team hosted Western (1-10, 0-7) on Thursday, which was past deadline and will host Sunrise Mountain (2-10, 0-7 Sunrise League) in non-league action on Friday at 3:30 p.m. The Trojans will get another crack at Clark on Wednesday.

The Sunrise Mountain game will be the senior game.
