ASSESSOR’S OFFICE HOURS CHANGED

The Nye County Assessor’s office has changed its hours in Pahrump and Tonopah to 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, effective immediately. The change comes as new Assessor Sheree Stringer took over the office Monday from Shirley Matson, who Stringer defeated in November’s election.

The assessor’s office in Pahrump is at 160 Floyd St., and in Tonopah at 101 Radar Road.
