The Pahrump Valley 500 Club, a bowling club at the Pahrump Valley Nugget, donated $345 to the Nye County Animal Shelter on Dec. 13.
It was their annual Christmas donation. Their next tournament will be held on Jan, 10 and will be a 3-6-9 singles.

Youth Softball Sign-ups: Jan. 9, 16, and 23 at 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. Also on Jan. 10, 17, and 24 at 10 a.m.- 1 p.m.
Registration will be held in the snack bar at Ian Deutch Park between fields three and four. Please bring a copy of the player’s birth certificate for age verification. Prices for players: 8u - $75, 10u, 12u, 14u - $85. Age is as of Dec 31, 2014.

Little League: Sign-ups are on Jan. 10, 17, 24 and 31. Times are from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. And on Jan. 14, 21 and 28 from 5 p.m to 7 p.m., cost will be $85 for t-ball and for Rookies $95, for Minors, Majors and Juniors $110. This year Little League will have 4 year olds playing in T- Ball. We need to get all players signed up early so we can ensure that all divisions are formed in an appropriate manner without having an overabundance of kids per team. Any players signing up after Jan. 31 will be assessed a $10 late fee.
